Most of the time, the weather is cool to downright cold at night with mild days. It's not unusual to leave the ranch house in the morning all bundled up only to return for lunch in your shirt sleeves.
Be sure to bring a good set of binoculars, have your favorite hunting rifle sighted in and practice for shots anywhere from 100 to 300+ yards.
The lodging varies as each ranch has its own unique accommodations for hunters. But they are all comfortable, the food is always great and the stories you come home with even better.
